Getting FLEx interlinear examples into MS-Word (in Leipzig format)
Canada Institute of Linguistics has created a template for use in Word
This template is an extension of a LingWord template that has a long history from the 1990s (https://www.sfu.ca/~mtaboada/editing.html#interlinear)
This CanIL template has macros for incorporating interlinear examples from FieldWorks (software.sil.org/fieldworks)
In order to use the template you will need to do the following:
Download the template GenericLingWordTemplate
By default Microsoft Office will not allow the macros to run. To unblock the file, do the following:
Open Windows File Explorer and go to the folder where you saved the file.
Right-click the file and choose Properties from the context menu.
At the bottom of the General tab, select the Unblock checkbox and select OK.
In file properties, near the bottom of the General tab, is a Security section with a checkbox for unblocking the file.
Add FieldWorks exporter files
You will need to export your interlinear text(s) from FieldWorks as LeipzigInterlinearHTML
You can retrieve the latest version of the LeipzigInterlinearHTML exporter here: https://github.com/LHayashi/LeipzigInterlinearHTML
Place LeipzigText.xml and xsm2Leipzig.xsl into this folder: C:\Program Files\SIL\FieldWorks 9\Language Explorer\Export Templates\Interlinear
